There are many processing techniques and they all have specific names linked to tradition and the Venetian dialect. The final result of the processing is a perfect combination of elegance and colors that make Murano glass famous throughout the world.
Murano glass is worked at a temperature of about 1000 degrees centigrade in a closed oven. Here the crucible is placed, that is the container in which the glass will be melted inside the oven. The glass is worked with a tool called cazza and then it is transported inside a basin of cold water where the cooling takes place.
At this point the artistic processing of Murano glass begins, with special tools of the trade.
